With the refurbished HP Thunderbolt 120W G2 docking station one cable turns into a complete workplace. You disconnect and reconnect your laptop without plugging in every screen, the network and your keyboard separately.
The connection runs through USB 3.2 (Gen1, 5Gb/s) type-C. For video there are 2x DisplayPort, 1x USB type-C, 1x VGA (D-Sub), so you can work with several screens side by side. Peripherals go into 1x Thunderbolt 3 type-C, 3x USB 2.0 type-A, 3x USB 3.2 (Gen1, 5Gb/s) type-A, 4x USB 3.2 (Gen1, 5Gb/s) type-C, and with 1x Ethernet 1Gbps, 1x Ethernet 100Mbps you work on a wired network connection instead of wifi.
The station runs on a power supply of 120W. How much of that reaches your laptop is listed in the specifications under Charging. For a headset or speakers: Analoog (uitgang). Supported operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 11.
This unit is refurbished. You pay less than for a new docking station and no new device has to be produced. What the warranty covers is on the Warranty tab.
This station connects over USB 3.2 (Gen1, 5Gb/s) type-C. It works with any laptop whose USB-C port carries video, meaning DisplayPort Alt Mode; nearly every business laptop of recent years has it. Stated operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 11.
This station has 2x DisplayPort, 1x USB type-C, 1x VGA (D-Sub). How many screens you can actually drive, and at what resolution, also depends on your laptop, because it determines what can leave the USB-C port.
The manufacturer does not state a charging wattage for this model. Do not assume you can leave your own charger behind; ask us if it matters to you.
Yes: 1x Ethernet 1Gbps, 1x Ethernet 100Mbps. At a fixed desk a wired network is often more stable than wifi, and your laptop needs nothing for it.
Yes. The docking station comes with the matching power cable or adapter, as far as this model needs one. Some stations are powered over USB-C and have no separate power supply.
Both use the same USB-C port. Thunderbolt offers more bandwidth and is meant for heavier setups with several high-resolution displays and fast peripherals. A regular USB-C docking station costs less and is enough for most desks.
Your docking station comes fully equipped, so you can get started right away!
All our products are thoroughly tested with professional testing software, including this HP Thunderbolt 120W G2. Therefore, all docking stations come with a 2-year warranty!
