A thin 15.6-inch mobile workstation with an NVIDIA card for real computing work, now refurbished and tested on more than 30 points.
The Dell Precision 5560 is a powerful, thin laptop from 2021 with an 11th generation Intel Core i7 or i9 and an NVIDIA T1200 or RTX A2000. It suits anyone who runs CAD, 3D or photo editing and does not want to carry a heavy machine around. At DSL-TECH you buy it with a 2-year warranty and 30 days to change your mind.
The Precision 5560 shares its aluminium housing and narrow screen bezels with the XPS 15. Under the lid, though, it is a different machine: here Dell uses a professional NVIDIA card with ISV-certified drivers for software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Revit.
That makes this mobile workstation interesting for a mechanical engineering student, a freelancer in architecture or a photographer who edits large RAW files at home. You get the computing power of a desktop in a 15-inch bag.
The configurations we offer change with our stock. Check above which processor, how much RAM and which SSD the available units have.

You can choose an Intel Core i7-11800H, i7-11850H or i9-11950H, and sometimes an i5-11500H. Dell also offered Xeon processors, but you rarely see those second-hand. Memory is usually 16 GB or 32 GB, and storage is an SSD of 512 GB to 1 TB (1TB).
The 16:10 display has an FHD+ resolution of 1920 x 1200 or a UHD+ resolution of 3840 x 2400 with touchscreen. For extra screens and a dock there are two Thunderbolt 4 ports, so one or two external monitors are no problem.
The NVIDIA T1200 is fine for 2D CAD, Photoshop and light 3D models. If you work with large assemblies, renders or 4K video, choose the RTX A2000 with 4 GB GDDR6; that GPU gets noticeably more out of heavy tasks.
An i7 with 16GB of memory is enough for most users; 32GB or an i9 only pays off for simulations, large point clouds or lots of virtual machines.
A housing this thin leaves limited thermal headroom. Under long periods of full load the processor clocks down a little, which you will hardly notice during short peaks.

The Precision 5560 shipped with Windows 10 Pro and officially runs Windows 11, because 11th generation Intel meets the requirements. Dell still provides firmware and drivers through its support site based on the service tag number.
All our laptops are tested on more than 30 points, from battery and keyboard to screen and ports. You save a lot compared with the price of a new workstation, and a well-working device stays in use longer.
We ship from Oud Gastel in the Netherlands. Order before 12:00 and we ship the same day; in the Netherlands it usually arrives the next day, elsewhere a day later. You get a 2-year warranty and 30 days to change your mind.
Yes, for CAD, photo editing and 3D work the Precision 5560 is still a fine choice. The 11th generation Intel processor and the NVIDIA card are fast enough for most professional software, and Windows 11 is officially supported.
The RTX A2000 is a lot faster in 3D, rendering and GPU-accelerated software. The T1200 is enough for 2D CAD, Office and photo editing.
Yes, especially with the RTX A2000 and 32 GB of memory you can edit 4K video. With the T1200, Full HD editing works well.
Only the version with the 3840 x 2400 UHD+ screen has touch. The 1920 x 1200 FHD+ screen is not touch-sensitive.
You get a 2-year warranty and 30 days to change your mind. Every laptop is tested on more than 30 points before it is shipped.
